Zines

My first exposure to zines was in elementary school, when one of my classmates printed out her own zine to share with the other girls in our class. (I still have it! You can read it here if you want.)

Since then, I've always thought about making my own zines. But for whatever reason, I never actually sat down to do that until recently.

For me, there's something very satisfying about holding a physical object in my hands. Because of that, I buy a lot of zines from random internet people. I also prefer to share most of my zines in physical form.

I still intend to share some of my creations online, which you will find on this page.

I also linked some places you can buy my zines online. But if you email me I'm also happy to just mail you some for free.

In 1999, Furby was banned from some government buildings, joining a long line of innocent parties unfairly targeted by the U.S. government.

That's why I've chosen Furby as a symbol of resistance.

This pamphlet for weirdos, activists, and Furby fans includes 15+ phrases for resistance translated by me from English into Furbish.

Topics include climate change, Gaza, trans rights, and more.

Do you like stories about ghosts and paranormal encounters? So do I.

This series of mini zines is a collection of very short, fictionalized accounts of experiences I've had firsthand or heard about second- and thirdhand from friends and family members.

Most stories take place in Ohio or Minnesota.
